Crematories approved for operation and holding inspection certificates as of January 1, 2020 may continue operating while seeking air permit renewals under chapter 446c of the general statutes

Applies to both permit renewals for continued operations and new permits for expansion of existing operations

Creates an exception to standard air permit requirements to prevent operational shutdowns during permit processing periods

Takes effect immediately upon passage
