Adds reasonable attorney's fees to the recoverable costs for complainants who prevail in entry and detainer cases involving forcible entry, unlawful detention, or property damage under Section 47a-45a

Expands recovery in civil actions under Section 47a-46 to include reasonable attorney's fees in addition to the existing double damages and costs when defendants are found to have used force to enter or hold property

Amends two sections of Connecticut General Statutes (47a-45a and 47a-46) related to landlord-tenant and property possession disputes

Effective date of October 1, 2026
