Executive director of the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity must convene two working groups by July 1, 2026: one on eating disorder treatment resources and best practices, and one on food insecurity and holistic diet benefits

Eating disorder working group will compile public information on treatment providers, develop questions for the Connecticut School Health Survey, and establish best practice guidelines for treatment facilities

Commissioner of Children and Families must study feasibility of establishing an inpatient psychiatric facility for children and young adults ages 14-21 with intellectual or developmental disabilities, with report due January 1, 2027

By February 1, 2027, Commissioner of Children and Families must request information from mental health providers about establishing the inpatient facility, with summary of responses due to the Governor and legislature by July 1, 2027

Monthly temporary family assistance cash benefits set at not less than 55% of the federal poverty level, with annual cost-of-living adjustments tied to the consumer price index when appropriated funds lapse at fiscal year end
