Establishes a task force to study expanding services provided by the 2-1-1 Infoline program operated by the United Way of Connecticut, including state funding necessary for expansion

Task force consists of 11 members including representatives from United Way, advocacy organizations, legislative leaders, and the Commissioners of Social Services, Housing, and Early Childhood

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of passage, with the first meeting held within 60 days

Report due to the Appropriations and Human Services committees by January 1, 2027, must include state costs to expand 2-1-1 Infoline staff by 20% and strategies to reduce caller wait times to 5 minutes or less

Task force terminates upon submission of the report or January 1, 2027, whichever is later
