Comptroller must study the feasibility and cost of establishing a stipend program for Connecticut Civil Air Patrol members who miss work for emergency response duties

Stipends would cover absences for responding to emergencies declared by the Governor or President, requests from the U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard, state police, local police, or emergency management agencies, and participation in required emergency training exercises

Study report due to the General Assembly's Labor and Public Employees Committee by January 1, 2027

Takes effect immediately upon passage
