Increases qualifying contribution thresholds for Citizens' Election Fund eligibility: Governor candidates from $250,000 to $288,800; Lieutenant Governor and other statewide offices from $75,000 to $86,600; state senators from $15,000 to $17,300; state representatives from $5,000 to $5,800

Eliminates inflationary adjustments to aggregate contribution amounts after the 2026 election cycle, locking thresholds at 2022 election cycle levels

Requires the State Elections Enforcement Commission to make inflationary adjustments to individual contribution limits by December 15th following the conclusion of each four-year statewide election cycle or two-year legislative election cycle

Maintains the $250 maximum individual contribution limit (subject to future inflation adjustments) and the requirement that excess contributions be returned to donors

Takes effect December 1, 2026 and amends Section 9-704 of the general statutes
