Working group consists of 6 members with legal expertise, appointed by legislative leaders: one each from the Speaker of the House, Senate President Pro Tempore, House and Senate majority leaders, and House and Senate minority leaders

Administrative support provided by staff of the General Assembly's joint standing committee on judiciary matters

Report on findings and recommendations due to the judiciary committee by January 1, 2027

Working group terminates upon submission of the report or January 1, 2027, whichever is later; effective immediately upon passage
