Establishes a Connecticut-Germany Trade Commission within the Legislative Department to advance bilateral trade, investment, and business/academic exchanges between Connecticut and Germany

Commission consists of 22+ members appointed by legislative leaders, the Governor, and Commerce Committee chairpersons, with all initial appointments due by October 1, 2026

Members must have current or past involvement in organizations promoting German affairs or Connecticut-Germany trade relations; appointed members serve four-year terms without compensation

Commission powers include initiating joint policy action, encouraging mutual infrastructure investment, obtaining data from state agencies, and accepting gifts or donations to support its mission

Annual reports required beginning February 1, 2028, submitted to the Governor, Commissioner of Economic and Community Development, and Commerce Committee with recommendations for policy changes
