Extends the Paraeducator Health Care Subsidy Program from fiscal year 2025 to fiscal year 2027 and each fiscal year thereafter, effective July 1, 2026

Expands eligibility for health savings account subsidies from paraeducators employed by local or regional boards of education to all paraeducators employed in public schools

Provides subsidies up to a percentage of the health plan deductible (set by the Comptroller) for paraeducators who open a health savings account or enroll in a high deductible health plan

Establishes a separate subsidy for school boards providing health coverage to paraeducators, capped at 10% of aggregate premium costs divided by enrolled paraeducators, to offset employee premium contributions

Extends coverage to charter school paraeducators and removes a prior provision that allocated $5,000,000 from the Department of Education for the program
