Commissioner of Mental Health and Addiction Services must develop a comprehensive public health plan to identify, prevent, and reduce risks associated with Internet gaming disorder

Plan must investigate any link between Internet gaming disorder and gambling behaviors

Required plan components include data monitoring, public education, early screening, health care provider training, evidence-based treatment pathways, and coordination with existing gambling harm prevention efforts

Youth and other vulnerable populations are designated as priority focus areas for harm reduction

Commissioner must submit a report on the plan to the General Assembly's Public Health Committee by January 1, 2027
