Consumer Counsel must conduct a study analyzing the feasibility of requiring electric supplier switches to be completed within 3 business days of consumer notification to their distribution company

Study must also examine feasibility of requiring the supplier switch to be reflected on the customer's bill in the subsequent billing cycle

Consumer Counsel must solicit written comments from each electric distribution company as part of the feasibility determination

Report containing findings must be submitted to the General Assembly's joint standing committee on energy by January 15, 2027
