Requires the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to consult with the Commissioner of Economic and Community Development when preparing Connecticut's Comprehensive Energy Strategy, which is updated every four years.

Expands legislative oversight by requiring the final strategy to be submitted to the joint standing committee on commerce, in addition to the existing committees on energy and environment.

Effective date is October 1, 2026, amending section 16a-3d of the general statutes.
