Department of Education may approve AI-based supplemental literacy support products that listen to students read aloud, analyze reading performance in real time, and provide individualized tutoring feedback, provided they align with the science of reading and are at least as effective as individual or small-group tutoring programs

Educator preparation programs approved by the State Board of Education must offer at least one course on student behavior management as a graduation requirement, effective July 1, 2026

Department of Education must establish an American Sign Language education working group by January 1, 2027, with representatives from multiple state agencies, the American School for the Deaf, and at least one ASL instructor to develop curriculum guidance, teacher certification standards, and alternative certification pathways

Annual progress reports on the ASL working group must be submitted to the General Assembly's education committee starting January 1, 2028

By July 1, 2030, the Department must issue ASL curriculum guidance to all local and regional boards of education to ensure consistent implementation within the world languages curriculum
