Exempts the Bristol Resource Recovery Facility from paying the $1.50 per ton solid waste processing assessment from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2031

Applies specifically to resource recovery facilities in Hartford County located in towns with populations between 61,000 and 64,000 (Bristol's population range)

Maintains the existing assessment structure for all other resource recovery facilities at $1.50 per ton of solid waste processed

$2.8 million of assessment proceeds continue to be deposited into the General Fund, with remaining funds going to the sustainable materials management account

Takes effect October 1, 2026
