Amends Connecticut General Statutes Section 9-451 to change "may" to "shall," making it mandatory for minor political parties to follow their own filed party rules when nominating candidates for public office

Requires minor parties to adhere to their established rules when selecting town committee members and delegates to conventions at the municipal level

Party rules must be filed with the Secretary of the State in accordance with Section 9-374

Effective date of January 1, 2027
