Amends Section 16-244b of Connecticut general statutes to make technical and clarifying changes to language regarding electric supplier choice, effective October 1, 2026

Retains the existing right of electric distribution company customers to purchase electric generation services from their choice of electric suppliers in a competitive market (established July 1, 2000)

Removes outdated phase-in schedule language from the original 2000 electricity deregulation implementation

Maintains provision that customers who have not chosen an electric supplier receive generation services under Section 16-244c (standard service)

Authorizes the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to adopt regulations implementing the section's provisions
