Municipal employees earning less than $10,000 annually in salary or wages may serve on their town's board of finance, effective October 1, 2026

Removes boards of finance from the list of bodies where municipal employees are categorically prohibited from serving

Employees may also serve on boards of finance if permitted by municipal charter, home rule ordinance, or through membership on the municipality's legislative body

Amends Section 7-421(e) of the general statutes governing municipal employee service on governmental bodies

Makes conforming amendments to Section 8-19(a) regarding planning commission membership references
