Any public statement by a candidate indicating they are "determining whether to seek nomination or election" to a particular office now triggers the 15-day requirement to convert the exploratory committee into a candidate committee

Contribution limits from political committees (business entities, state central committees, town committees, and ongoing political activity committees) to exploratory committees uniformly reduced from $375 to $250
