Creates the crime of digital forgery for knowingly creating and disseminating AI-generated or computer-manipulated images, videos, or audio recordings of identifiable persons without their consent and with intent to cause financial injury

Classifies digital forgery as a class A misdemeanor, elevated to a class E felony when committed as part of a scheme

Exempts law enforcement officers acting in their official duties from the provisions

Provides an affirmative defense for defendants who took reasonable action to notify viewers or listeners that the content was digitally forged

Shields interactive computer services, information services, and telecommunications providers from liability if they did not know content violated the law; effective October 1, 2026
