Adds a second violation of failing to stop for a school bus displaying flashing red lights (section 14-279) to the list of offenses triggering mandatory license suspension, with a 6-month suspension for a second offense and at least one year for subsequent violations

Amends section 14-111(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes governing automatic license suspensions by the DMV Commissioner without a hearing

Effective date is October 1, 2026
