Provides liability protection for donors of qualified fire control or rescue equipment to volunteer fire departments, shielding them from civil damages for injuries, property damage, or death caused by the equipment after donation.

Exempts liability protection if the donor's actions constitute gross negligence or intentional misconduct, if the donor is the equipment manufacturer, or if the donor or agency modified or altered the equipment after recertification.

Defines "qualified fire control or rescue equipment" as equipment that has been recertified by an authorized technician as meeting manufacturer specifications, including fire vehicles, tools, communications equipment, protective gear, hoses, and breathing apparatus.

Defines "volunteer fire department" as an association where at least 30 percent of individuals receive little or no compensation compared to entry-level full-time paid individuals in similar associations.

Effective 30 days after enactment, applying only to equipment donations made on or after that date.
