Recognizes May 2011 as "Older Americans Month" and "Driver Safety Month" in Delaware.

Acknowledges Delaware's fastest-growing aging population, projected to comprise almost 25% of the state's population by 2030 and rank 6th nationally in seniors-to-general-population ratio.

Notes older drivers comprise 17% of Delaware's drivers but are involved in 14% of fatal crashes and 18% of crashes with pedestrians.

Recognizes the Senior Driver Task Force created in 2010, comprising representatives from DMV, AARP, DelDOT, AAA Mid-Atlantic, Delaware Transit Corporation, and other organizations.

Acknowledges Task Force accomplishments including launching a senior-friendly website, creating a senior driving manual, developing curriculum courses for senior centers, and hosting Saturday Senior Day events at DMV facilities.
