House Concurrent Resolution No. 23 recognizes the Comcast Foundation's Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program and its 22 Delaware recipients for 2011.

The Comcast Foundation has distributed over $77 million to non-profit organizations since its establishment in June 1999, with the scholarship program awarding more than $13.4 million to over 13,300 students nationally since 2001.

Each scholarship recipient receives a one-time grant of $1,000 to support their pursuit of higher education.

The resolution names 22 Delaware high school seniors honored for exemplifying community service and civic leadership through the program.

The General Assembly extends recognition to the scholarship recipients and expresses gratitude to Comcast and the Comcast Foundation for supporting leaders and achievers throughout Delaware.
