HCR 45 Summary

• Recognizes the 2010 All Star Award Recipients of the Delaware Health Care Facilities Association during National Nursing Home Week (May 9-15, 2010).

• Awards recipients across 14 categories including Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant, Caregiver, Environmental Services, Maintenance, Medical Director, Food Service, Activities, Resident/Family Liaison, Administrative Support, Administrator, and Therapist.

• Special recognition given to Rose Astrid Valmond as the 2010 All Star Community Advocacy Award recipient.

• Directs a copy of the resolution to be delivered to the Delaware Health Care Facilities Association representative during the legislative session on May 11, 2010.

• Urges all Delawareans to applaud these individuals and all persons dedicated to providing quality care for vulnerable citizens in long-term care facilities.
