House Resolution 44 honors the longstanding partnership in public service between Delaware Technical & Community College and the State of Delaware.

Recognizes that Delaware Technical & Community College was established in 1966 through House Bill 529, signed by then-Governor Charles L. Terry.

Commends the college for providing over 100 high-quality academic programs, affordable access to higher education, and workforce training to Delaware businesses.

Acknowledges the college's nationally-accredited programs and 112 articulation agreements with four-year institutions, including 16 with the University of Delaware and 14 with Delaware State University.

Directs that a suitable copy of the resolution be presented to Dr. Orlando J. George, Jr., President of Delaware Technical & Community College, and to the college's Board of Trustees.
