Requires the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) to adopt rules and regulations for recognition and management of student athletes with concussion signs or symptoms by the 2012-2013 school year.

Mandates annual signing and return of a concussion information sheet by each student athlete and their parent or guardian prior to initiating practice or competition.

Requires all coaches to complete concussion training according to a timetable and curriculum established by the Association.

Mandates prompt removal of student athletes from play if they are suspected of sustaining a concussion or exhibit concussion signs or symptoms until completion of assessment or medical clearance.

Encourages the Department of Education to continue consulting with recognized experts including the State Council for Persons with Disabilities Brain Injury Committee and the Brain Injury Association of Delaware when developing and updating concussion policies.
