Amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code relating to the State Employees Pension Plan to allow funeral and associated expenses of a deceased employee to be paid from pension benefits.

Payment of funeral expenses requires signed consent from the beneficiary or their legal guardian.

Modifies § 5503 of Title 29 to create an exception allowing benefit transfers specifically for covering funeral costs of the deceased.

Current law prohibits use of pension benefits for any expenses, including funeral costs, but this bill permits the exception with proper authorization.
