Add registered agent resignation procedures allowing registered agents to resign and appoint a successor registered agent (with $200 fee) or resign without a successor (with $2.00 fee per affected statutory trust).

Require that all addresses for trustees and registered agents/offices in filed certificates include street number, city, and postal code, effective August 1, 2011 for new filings.

Establish that certificates filed under Chapter 38 may have effective dates up to 180 days after filing for documents filed on or after January 1, 2012.

Clarify that merger or consolidation agreements may amend or adopt new governing instruments for surviving or resulting statutory trusts without restriction by the existing governing instrument.

Require simultaneous filing of conversion and domestication certificates with the Secretary of State and matching effective dates when applicable.
