Establishes the Volunteer Emergency Responders Job Protection Act prohibiting employers with 10 or more employees from terminating, demoting, or disciplining employees who are volunteer emergency responders.

Protects employee absences from work for Governor-declared State of Emergency lasting up to 7 consecutive days or President-declared National Emergency lasting up to 14 consecutive days.

Prohibits disciplinary action against employees absent due to injuries sustained while responding to emergencies as volunteer responders.

Allows employers to deduct wages for time employees are away from work for emergency response and requires employees to provide written proof of emergency response or injury within 7 days upon request.

Provides that wrongfully terminated or disciplined employees must be reinstated with back pay and allows employees to sue for lost wages, benefits, court costs, and attorney's fees within one year of violation.
