Allows dentistry applicants to sit for the Delaware practical (clinical) examination before graduating if they provide a letter of good standing certifying graduation within 60 days of the examination date.

Allows dental hygiene applicants to sit for the practical examination before graduating if they provide a letter of good standing certifying graduation within 60 days of the examination date.

Requires dental hygiene applicants to have graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program of at least 2 academic years duration, replacing previous requirements.

Applies to applicants from dental colleges, universities, and dental hygiene programs accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association.

Implements recommendations from the Joint Sunset Committee regarding licensure examination requirements.
