Adds "public transit operator" to the protected persons under Delaware Code §612(a)(3), which addresses assault, placing them in the same legal category as deputy sheriffs and code enforcement constables.

Adds "public transit operator" to the protected persons under Delaware Code §613(a)(5), which addresses battery, placing them alongside fire marshalls and code enforcement constables.

Defines "public transit operator" as a person in control or in charge of a transportation vehicle for public use offered in exchange for a fee or charge by railroads, street railways, motor buses, or trolley coaches.

Excludes from the definition: school transportation regulated by the Department of Education, transportation to and from places of worship, free shuttle services provided by businesses between fixed locations, and limousine services.
