Replaces the existing Bethany Beach Charter provisions for Aldermen and Assistant Aldermen with updated uniform language consistent with other Delaware towns

Aldermen and Assistant Aldermen are appointed by the Governor, confirmed by the Delaware State Senate, and serve 2-year terms with possibility of reappointment

Requires Aldermen to comply with state ethical responsibilities and operate the court according to Criminal Rules of Procedure for Alderman and Mayor Courts of Delaware

Mandates that all criminal matters be entered into the Delaware Criminal Justice Information System (DELJIS) as required by law

Requires the Town to provide adequate facilities and staff for the Alderman Court that are physically separate from police agency functions and other conflicting town operations to ensure judicial independence
