Designates June 21, 2012, as "AKA Day at the Capitol" in Delaware to recognize Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Acknowledges Alpha Kappa Alpha as a 104-year-old organization founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University and the first Greek-lettered organization established by and for African American college-educated women.

Recognizes the sorority's 260,000 global members and their community service contributions, including over one million hours of service in 2011, particularly in African-American neighborhoods.

Honors the civic contributions of three Delaware chapters—Epsilon Iota Omega, Sigma Zeta Omega, and Zeta Omega—for their work on economic security, environmental sustainability, social justice, youth leadership programs, and community initiatives including voter registration drives and anti-bullying advocacy.
