Clarifies that earned good time credits of up to 60 days for program completion apply only to offenders sentenced on or after August 8, 2012

Requires good time credits be applied so the release date does not occur before the offender completes their approved program, and consolidates good time credits across multiple sentences rather than applying individually

Limits earned compliance credit (probation reduction) to offenders released on or after August 8, 2012, and prohibits such credits for sex offenses, violent felonies, probation imposed solely for restitution collection, and other categories as defined by Department of Correction regulations

Specifies that conditional release periods run concurrently with probationary periods for offenders released on or after August 8, 2012

Applies conditional release provisions only to persons released on or after August 8, 2012, and clarifies the effective date of Senate Bill 226 from the 146th General Assembly
