Adds Serenity Place, Inc., a Dover-based rehabilitation entity, to the list of organizations exempt from property taxation in Delaware.

Serenity Place, Inc. joins other qualified nonprofits including historical societies, veteran organizations, civic associations, and charitable institutions listed in Title 9, Section 8106(a) of the Delaware Code.

The organization's real property will be exempt from taxation and assessment for public purposes by any county or political subdivision of the state, except property held by way of investment.
