Recognizes September 15, 2014 through October 15, 2014 as National Hispanic Heritage Month in Delaware.

Acknowledges the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Notes that National Hispanic Heritage Month was established in 1968 as a week-long observance and expanded to 30 days in 1988 through Public Law 100-402.

Recognizes the significance of September 15 as the independence anniversary for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, with Mexico and Chile celebrating independence on September 16 and 18 respectively.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Latin American Community Center.
