• Standardizes temporary license suspension procedures across multiple Delaware professional licensing boards by replacing individual board-specific language with uniform requirements for suspending licenses when a licensee presents clear and immediate danger to public health, safety, or welfare.

• Requires written order from Secretary of State or designee with Board chair concurrence before suspending a license, with at least 24 hours' written or oral notice to the licensee to file a written response.

• Limits temporary suspension orders to 60 days from issuance unless the suspended person requests a continuance of the hearing date, in which case the suspension remains in effect until the Board convenes and renders a decision.

• Allows suspended licensees to request expedited hearings, with the Board required to schedule hearings on an expedited basis if the request is received within 5 calendar days of notification of the suspension decision.

• Applies consistent temporary suspension procedures to licensing boards covering pilots, architects, electricians, nurses, pharmacists, physicians, veterinary technicians, athletic trainers, behavior analysts, home inspectors, and other regulated professionals.
