Increases gross vehicle weight limit for live-haul poultry trucks from 80,000 pounds to 90,000 pounds for trucks traveling less than 150 miles from farm to processing plant.

Permits live-haul poultry trucks to exceed the 90,000-pound weight limit by up to 3 percent to account for variations in bird weight, moisture from precipitation, or other unanticipated conditions.

Requires live-haul poultry trucks to meet four conditions to qualify for the increased weight allowance: subject to Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program (MCSAP) inspection, adherence to all bridge weight limits, prohibition from using the interstate highway system, and axles spaced a minimum of 96 inches apart within one year of enactment.

Exempts live-haul poultry trucks from the farm vehicle exemption in weight enforcement provisions, making them subject to police officer inspection and unloading requirements.
