Mandates Department of Education adopt rules on training trained persons and storage/administration of emergency medication, with Division of Public Health providing guidance.

Allows school nurses and trained educators or coaches to administer emergency medication without individual prescriptions from licensed healthcare providers to diagnosed and undiagnosed individuals.

Provides liability protections for school nurses and trained persons who administer emergency medication in good faith, except in cases of willful, wanton, or gross negligence.
