DE SB50

Prohibits members of the General Assembly from becoming employed by the State of Delaware while serving in office, with exceptions for members who were already state employees at the time of their election or who became state employees prior to the bill's enactment.

Clarifies that service in the General Assembly itself shall not be considered employment by the State of Delaware for purposes of this prohibition.

Amends Chapter 7, Title 29 of the Delaware Code by adding new section 712 regarding member employment restrictions.
