Proclaims May 2013 as Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month in Delaware.

Recognizes that cystic fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease affecting approximately 30,000 children and adults in the United States, with about 1,000 new cases diagnosed annually.

Notes that more than 70% of cystic fibrosis patients are diagnosed by age two, and over 45% of the patient population is age 18 or older.

Acknowledges medical advances that have extended median survival age to 37 years, compared to the 1950s when few children with cystic fibrosis lived to attend elementary school.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
