Continues the Motorcycle Rider Education Advisory Committee, originally established in 1998 to advise the General Assembly on the Motorcycle Rider Education Program

Committee membership includes 14 members: one House member appointed by the Speaker, one Senator appointed by the President pro tempore, representatives from the Office of Controller General, Department of Transportation, and Office of Highway Safety, plus nine public members

Committee must meet at least quarterly to monitor the Motorcycle Rider Education Program, receive input from state agencies and the public, assess future needs, and recommend program improvements

The Motorcycle Rider Education Program, established in 1985, provides mandatory training for new motorcycle operators under age 18 and voluntary courses for experienced riders seeking skill improvement
