Encourages pre and post-employment training for dyslexia identification in Delaware

Encourages early screening for dyslexia in kindergarten and first grade in all public schools in Delaware

Recognizes that dyslexia affects approximately 10 percent of the U.S. population and is identifiable with over 90 percent certainty in children ages 5.5 to 6.5

Notes that early intervention and support significantly improve academic success and self-esteem for children with dyslexia
