Commends the Food Bank of Delaware for its contributions to addressing hunger and poverty in Delaware

Food Bank distributed 6.2 million pounds of food through 477 partner networks and served more than 4,000 households via its mobile pantry vehicle in the last year

Distributed 131,371 backpacks to at-risk youth, produced 172,244 meals for after-school programs, and delivered over 200,000 summer meals for children at risk of hunger

Provided supplemental food to approximately 2,300 senior citizens monthly and graduated over 400 students through its Culinary School since 2002

Expresses legislative support for the Food Bank's continued expansion of services and acknowledges its 55 employees and 59,406 volunteer hours (equivalent to 28.5 full-time staff members)
