Honors Representative Darryl M. Scott for six years of service in the Delaware House of Representatives (145th, 146th, and 147th General Assemblies) representing Kent County's 31st District since 2008

Recognizes Scott's legislative achievements including authoring the "Hands-Free Driving Law" banning texting while driving, leading state employee pension reform saving $500 million over 15 years, and sponsoring the INSPIRE Scholarship program providing $1.4 million in tuition assistance to Delaware State University

Acknowledges Scott's committee service as vice-chair of the House Education Committee and chair of the House Telecommunications, Internet and Technology Committee, plus membership on the Gaming and Pari-mutuels Committee and Health and Human Development Committee

Commends Scott's community initiatives including the "community garden program" that donated nearly 3,000 pounds of fresh vegetables to the Dover Food Bank and his prior service on the Capital School District Board of Education and Reading Assist Institute board
