Amends Section 3509 to require psychological assistant applicants to complete a predoctoral internship complying with Board rules and regulations, replacing the previous 450-hour supervised internship requirement.

Adds new ground for discipline in Section 3514(a)(6): violation of any lawful provision of the psychology licensing chapter or Board regulations.

Modifies Section 3514(a)(2)(f) to require applicants with criminal convictions to submit fingerprints and criminal history information for Board review (corrects apparent drafting error regarding "not").

Changes Section 3516(a)(6) to allow monetary penalties up to $500 per violation as a standalone sanction, removing the restriction that penalties could only be imposed in addition to license suspension or revocation.

Maintains existing waiver criteria for applicants with criminal convictions, including time requirements and Board approval by majority vote.
