Changes the criminal charge for hit-and-run accidents resulting in injuries from an unclassified misdemeanor to a class G felony.

Applies only to drivers involved in collisions that result in injury to any person who fail to stop and provide required information.

Maintains existing penalties of a fine between $1,000 and $3,000 or imprisonment of 1 to 2 years.

Does not alter the driver's existing duty to stop at the scene, provide name, address, vehicle registration, and driver's license information, and render reasonable assistance to injured persons.
