Amends § 6647 of Title 16 of Delaware Code regarding membership requirements for volunteer firefighters.

Prohibits individuals convicted of or adjudicated delinquent for specified serious crimes from serving as firefighters, including sexual misconduct felonies, crimes against children or elderly persons, arson, and equivalent out-of-state offenses.

Denies membership for applicants convicted of crimes in several categories (violence, drug offenses, property crimes, sexual misconduct) unless at least 5 years have passed since conviction or release from custody, with allowance for extraordinary circumstances upon clear and convincing evidence.

Eliminates fees or costs charged to applicants for obtaining criminal history information from the State Bureau of Identification.

Makes knowingly providing false or inaccurate criminal history information a class G felony with imprisonment up to 2 years and a fine of no less than $1,000; takes effect 90 days after enactment.
