Requires candidates for statewide or other elective office who may appear on a general election ballot to file a disclosure statement under oath with the State Commissioner of Elections between August 1st and September 1st of the election year

Candidates must certify they have filed all State and Federal personal income tax returns due (or have pending extensions), paid all personal income taxes determined to be due, and paid all real property taxes due prior to May 30th of the election year

Candidates who fail to file the required disclosure statement face fines of $50 per day until filed, with a maximum total fine of $3,000

The Commissioner of Elections must post all filed candidate disclosure statements and the names of candidates who failed to file on the office's website by September 8th
