Notes that an estimated 46,420 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States in 2015, with approximately 39,590 deaths and approximately 130 deaths in Delaware.

Identifies pancreatic cancer incidence and death rates as increasing, anticipated to become the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States by 2020.

Recognizes the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network as a national patient advocacy organization serving the pancreatic cancer community through public policy, research funding, patient services, and public awareness efforts.

Encourages expanded efforts to keep Delaware residents informed about pancreatic cancer symptoms and treatment options.
